Trying to make the hole for the loops to go through, I tried drilling through the battery cover but that just scratched it a little. Should I use a different drill or has anyone succeeded with a different method?

I don't even want to know why you would do such a thing, but no, I have not even tried drilling holes in my storm 2.

The best way would be to use a case/shell/skin for the Storm and make a hole or loop in that for the charm to attach to.

Hahahahaha, I was going to say something snide like "place the phone under your car's front tire, put the car in drive, proceed slowly, and presto your Storm will have a nice convenient "charm hole"... You all beat me to it!

edit: Actually, that video has the exact "right" way to do it, almost as if the phone was meant to have a lanyard. The little rubber nub on the top edge of the battery door has depressions on either side that are just right for a lanyard tie.

Cool, thanks for the link, that works great. I don't see what you guys have against it, the Storm's not some super awesome phone that no one should mess with. I honestly think it looks pretty bad, but whatever.

Drilling holes in anything you've spent money on (Unless it's lumber) is a bad idea. Almost as bad of an idea as putting a drill in anyone's hands who is stupid enough to try and use it on their blackberry.

I stand corrected. On a side note, I'm less than two weeks away from my upgrade date! What to do...

Some folks feel a need to poke holes in everything so they can attach jewelry.

However, the thought of getting a Prince Albert makes Mr. Happy very sad.
