I'm really about to lose it on Verizon. I ordered my replacement in store on the 5th and there is still no tracking number as of 20 minutes ago.

Ordered on friday, got it this morning. Spent all day on it at work. So far its very good. No lag from OS or accel. Still getting use to typing but I'm pretty fast already.

Ive actually been playing with that for the past hour......put an .avi w/ divx codec on there and its playing nicely...music is great as well....although a visulizations app would be nice (like the one i-tunes has)

Got mine today as well, and I'm glad the wait is over. The screen is PERFECT, and I couldn't be happier. Came with .75 on it too.

Actually I was wrong....they had given me a $50 rebate when I purchased it in store and another rebate shipped with the phone.....however they both require the same label

All said and done though its only cost me $58 ($199-$100 for ne2-$50 rebate)

So cant complain....especially considering theyre selling on ebay right now for 10x that....

I ordered my replacement on the 3rd and got it on friday(12th), never got a tracking number, confirmation email, nothing, so i guess some people get the tracking numbers and some don't but you should get it within the next day or two.

I ordered mine on Friday Dec 5th and just got it today!! I too loaded up some Xvid/Divx Movies and they are playing nicely. And with no converison ... I simply loaded up a standard Bit Torrent Xvid movie 624X352 Bit Rate 1100. The nice part is I don't have to go through all kinds of conversions.

So I opened my new Storm up and I am letting it charge. Mine came with .75 on it already. Date was 12/8/2008 in Canada. Noticed the screen seems to have a bit more "play" to it then my first one. (like movement left to right, and up and down). Also, I haven't been completely blown away if you will by the speed in which I go from landscape to portrai and vice versa. Meaning I see no real difference between my first unit and this replacement. We will see when it comes to the screen and clicking while on the internet (especially in Opera Mini). Main it is horrible on my first handset. Drives me crazy. I did notice that I got a little fold out booklet in the new box for Storm tips.

My screen is pretty tight, but I can push it side to side if I try. Screen response is insanely good, so I'm happy. The light leaks around the buttons and screen suck *** though. RIM could have remedied it around the buttons atleast, very easily.

I have a 16gig card and have seasons 1-4of the office, wedding crashers, dodgeball, 20 youtube vids, and 1200 songs...all play great.

I have been using "handbrake" for video with excellent results (free). I just use the PSP preset and change the resolution to 480x320 or 480x360.

while were on movies, i have the cheech and chong collection, wall-e, the ruins, max payne, babylon, ironman, mummy tomb of the dragon, splinter, willow, the scorpion king 2, and a few seasons of various cartoons(2 diff memory cards)

I'm assuming check the screen, check the buttons, check to see if the unit overall is used or not, and then plug it in to charge.

I was planning on using the unit even while it's charging. Good or bad?

MAKE SURE YOU GET ALL THE SCREEN PROTECTORS (SHIPPING) OFF.....there are like five and the last one is barely noticeable....Activate, then charge so the battery gets full capacity....then test out your stuff, i went to sleep when it charged...but it comes with about a half battery so you can play a little....
