as above guys. i have had 2 update popups on my desktop manager so far since getting my storm and both cause an error and cannot continue. spoke to vodaphone customer service and about the first one i had a person that knew what they were talking about but today when i got the email about the newest one and called to try and have it sorted i had an ***** and an even bigger ***** manager trying to tell me that the update is for the desktop manager program!!!! and also that the only update thats came out lately was for german vodaphone customers and none is scheduled for the uk market.
WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP please can some of the more knowledgeable folks on here help?
desktop manager does the auto back up and then immediately fails saying
" fatal error has occurred while updating your device's software. please try again"
seems to be 4.7.0.78 and my installed version is 4.7.0.65

id like to try app loader to install this as other seems to have gotten round the issue like that but how do i download the update that DM has listed for the 9500 uk??
