- Its just amazing to me what smart phones can do. Bedside mode dims the light on the screen. I was getting emails through out the night. Sometimes they would wake me up. So now I either turn the phone off ( it gives you two options ) either turn the phone completely off. Or for it to turn back on when your alarm is set. Also in options there is a setting to turn your phone off and on at set times. Last but least if you are like me and have to keep your phone on you can set it to silent your alarms still on and you don't get bothered. Hope this helps.

You can also have bedside mode turn off your Radio (Like going to Manage Connections > Turn all connections off) So you don't get anything in / out till you take phone out of Bedside mode.
I don't use the Radio off, because I like to know when a txt, mms, email actually arrived instead of getting 10-20 emails when phone comes out of bedside mode. I do use the LED off feature though and "Phone calls Only" profile so no txt / emails bothering me, but calls still ring through.04-28-09 11:19 AMLike 0 - I have a curve 8310. Alarm was working fine, upgraded last week to the new OS. Alarm doesn't work at all. Now, even after a battery pull, the alarm will vibrate but no tone. I've tried the several suggestions on this and other forum posts, but no luck.
anyone else find a fix?07-09-09 07:06 AMLike 0 - Is there any way to require a password to shut the Alarm Clock off?
My Storm locks when I push the lock button or it sits a while. If I want to check something on my phone or make a call, I need to put in the password.
However, the phone allows me to snooze or dismiss without the password. I realize this would be terrible for most people, but I push the snooze button a lot. If I had that extra bit of mental exercise before pushing snooze, I might wake up without having to hit snooze 10 times.07-20-09 01:20 AMLike 0
