After hour of using touchscreen function messing up

Hi guy's i am new at this site and i have this blackberry 9530 the mirror of the LCD is has a big crack,and been played by a baby bitting it getting the inside of the LCD the her saliva yack,hehehe. so i manage to fix it though but still like i said the mirror of the LCD has a big crack actually,but u know what the touch screen function is working like new would you believe that....
but the main problem of this is after hours or overnight of not using it nor touching it then all of a sudden u will use it the touchscreen function is messing up bad. what do you think is the cause of this? is it on the LCD or software? but i do have the latest version of the firmware which is OS v5.0.0.419... pls help me on this....

First, have you tried taking out the battery and putting it back in? Does this fix the problem? If not, try a later firmware version like 5.0.0.1041 or 5.0.0.973, its good even thought its an unofficial leak. Check to see if you have enough memeory available, go to options, memory and see how much application space you have. Anything over a 10mb and you'll be ok.

With a phone like this, its good practice to reset it by pulling out the battery often. It just runs out of memory quick if its not reset every few days. Hope this helps, let me know how it goes.

It sounds like a software issue if it works fine for a few hours then messes up. Worse case its hardware-related and you can do yourself a favour and save up for a new BB, they are very good. That way the baby can have their storm back too, lol.
