    what he means is NO, unless you work for RIM there is no adjusting the accelerometer.

    not sure if that is sarcasm or you really want to know, but Ill explain anyway. The accelerometer is what controls the screen reorientation when you move it. It also lets you play games such as flight path.

    I feel like the screen rotation, for example, when I turn the phone sideways, occurs sooner than it should
