9500 Storm on BES

Hi,

2 questions reg BES on the Storm.

1. I dont have an email inbox icon for my BES account is this correct? My two BIS accounts show on my main screen as the standard envelopes. My BES account however just shows up in the messages inbox along with everything else I receive. My IT dept tell me this is correct but surely not. It's awful to use and I'd preferably hide that icon!

2. due to the first question I've reverted back to using the BIS service and have set my work account up over web access. Works fine just a little slow. I now however have the annoying device lock due to the IT policy. I read in another thread that if I were to enter the password wrong 10 times it would remove all info off the device. Would it also remove the IT policy and allow me to use the device after having restored from one of my previous back ups or would my back up restore the IT policy too?

1. Yes while on the BES your "corporate" email will go to the Messages Folder(Icon) only....

2. You dont have to put the PSWD wrong 10 times though, just go to Options>Security Options> General , Then press menu button and Select "Wipe Handheld"

3. The back up shouldn't revert back to the IT policy rules this is done when the service books are sent back down to the device.
