ok so yesterday i went from lyricidal's .151 hybrid to the new 5.0 leak for my 9530. well shortly after upgrading to the new 5.0 i was unpleased to find myspace, facebook, google maps, and no BBM

so now today i had spent all day trying to get back to the .151 and was unable to wipe using Jl cmdr since it said there was a problem with it running the 16 bit MS-DOS... so now i finally got it to start downgrading and when i came back my screen was solid white and said 507 error please help

The 507 error means that you don't have an OS installed on your device. Use Desktop Manager or Loader.exe to install your OS.

yeah i did use the loader twice now and it says software uploaded succesfully but ill try it once more through the DM

you cant brick a BB, if you are getting a 507 error you can get it back...

After spending 3 hours online last night with another guy with this exact problem, and being unsuccessful, I'd say, yeah, toast... But, I am the eternal optimist, and believe it can be fixed.

Then this AM, after some rest, I believe I found another alternative method of manually running loader from dos.

It has something to do with not being able to see the PIN on the usb port.

I read it has something to do with the LOADER /NOJVM

This is only my guess, but it's worth a try. It's the only thing I didn't try

try this one. it is kind of weird trying to get the timing right. it took me a couple times of going through the process only to find it didnt work. but keep trying this. it works.

i dont know how i did it but somehow i just successfully loaded in .151 when none of those methods were working right for me
