- My 8gig card in my Curve is _almost_ full. It would be full, but I had to delete a lot of songs that I wanted to have on my phone because the card was almost full. Also downloading podcasts to my phone, I have to delete them when I am finished so I have more room for new ones...I also have a few pictures and a few custom ringtones and videos.... I could definitely use the full 16gigs.09-25-08 10:58 AMLike 0
- I've put music from VCast ( not Rhapsody ) on a memory card, but it only plays on that one phone. I put the card into another phone, and it "sees" the music, but when I go to play it on a different phone, it states something about licensing or something.... I don't know if that has changed since Rhapsody or not...09-25-08 11:08 AMLike 0

The music you get with the 14.99 subscription is DRM, so it is going to only be limited to the type of devices that can play it. I haven't tested subscription tracks being usable on other devices, but you definitely can put the tracks on an external memory card.
Hope that helps!09-25-08 11:17 AMLike 0 - I've put music from VCast ( not Rhapsody ) on a memory card, but it only plays on that one phone. - I believe you're right, I did purchase it OTA, not through the VCAST music store front or whatever...09-25-08 11:24 AMLike 0
- i understand size restrictions but i really wish this phone supported sd cards, it's a simple fact that larger capcity will be sd before micro. with the 16/32 iphone coming out(or has it been released alredy?) it could be a deciding factor for people with large collections like myself.
sure i don't need 32 gigs of music on my portable device but damn is it ever handy! and matter of fact the reason i've never PURCHASED and ipod(i was given one as a gift) was due to the fact that until they figure out how to fit 2tb in your pocket i'm not particularly interested in paying the money for a device that cant carry my collection. although i'll gladly use one when gifted to me >8-)09-25-08 08:27 PMLike 0 - Here's a BGR article about the new 16GB microSD
SanDisk 16GB available on the market without SanDisk knowing : Boy Genius Report
"It looks like the much anticipated 16GB microSD card is now available from SanDisk, but they havent started advertising it at all. Finally you can have all that space to waste on any smartphone that will support that capacity, and hey, the cost isnt so bad either. These little buggers will run about $60 - 80 on most sites and thats a damn good deal, just dont lose the thing! Expect to see these everywhere soon with a formal announcement from SanDisk themselves."09-26-08 07:12 AMLike 0 - I just orderd a 16gb microSD off eBay with a 23 in one card reader(since I dont have a mutlicard dock yet).
When I ordered my Bold from overseas and did not get a microSD card in the aauction. So now I am going to use it in my Bold until I get the Storm in my hand.... then swap the 8gb from the Storm to the Bold and sell the Bold off with the 8gb card.
Here's where I got it... its a dutch auction so get cha one aswell!
