Why don't you guys root for the only winning team we have right now...the CAPS!?! Ted Leonsis is an awesome person. The Schneider Skins are lame...as is their owner.

I am a life-long DC resident. I have loved the Caps always and hated the Redskins always. I remember the Billy Kilmer days. Not to mention the Redskins have the biggest bandwagon fans on the planet. They're almost as bad as Philly. I love watching them scream about going to the Super Bowl at the beginning of the season and then whining like babies eight games in praying for a wildcard.

DC is a transient city. People come and go constantly within and out of the government/military. People get caught up in the hoopla (remember the Super Bowl screams?) and root for the skintards and then turn on them when they do the usual routine of losing (praying for wildcard?). We do have quite a few fair weather fans actually. See me. I bleed burgundy and gold but some of the fans around here well you know if we r not winning they forget the skins even exist or they'll sell their tickets TO THE OPPOSING TEAM that pissed me off last year at the steelers game. Oh well sorry for that rant. HTTR

yeah ticket thing sucks but that is b/c of Snyder not "schndkekrar" sells tickets on stub hub its not the fans. With the biggest stadium in NFL, and only being a few hrs to philly NY and Pitt. It will always be that way if Snyder puts tickets up on 3rd party sites.

Maybe you should be a little be more clear on what you say then. Most of the burbs are not Military/gov and so on. Yes it is a big population but not the majority. So what was your point then. Sorry rsmilf but you now must kneel before Zorn.

I never said most of the city or the burbs are government employees or military members. I said DC (including the burbs dumb ***) is a very transient city. There are thousands of people who cycle in and out of the "DC area" on a yearly basis. You're so stupid you misconstrue that to mean everyone that lives in the city itself must work for the government and military...while everyone outside the district must work for...whomever? You need to kneel down and open wide... you're retarded.
