is there a why and if so how can i add a "heading" to a calendar, and one that pops up and disappears with the today items.

i realize it can be done in the image, but that's not what i am looking for..

If you mean using the hidden today items, no you can't put a heading. You can get around this by making the heading part of the wallpaper, keeping in mind that people can also put messages or call log, so keep it generic like 'today' or something.
