i know with composer people have written code to have pop up windows and such, couldnt someone just write some bad *** code to almost resemble the HTC? i mean with "code" anythings do-able right? i dont know

No, not everything is doable, in fact a very limited amount of things is doable sadly.

Especially anything that would emulate HTC.

Lot of pessimism in this thread.

The coolest part of the Touch theme (aside from the pieces that really are too difficult to code) is the fluid slide bar at the bottom and the clock/today screen.

If someone could make something like that, it really would be enough.

Thats one of the biggest problem, we cant simulate the "sliding fluidity" of the scroll bar on the bottom, you cant make it so you can slide your finger across and it moves with it.
