First off sorry mods if you have to move this. I wasn't too sure where to pot it...

But a question to some of the theme makers out there.

As far as icons go where are you getting them or how are you making them?
I'm an advid Photoshop user and have no doubt that i'll be able to contribute with some nice themes, but am not sure how you guys are creating specific icons. If there is a program your using is there anyway you can post a link? Or is there a site to find icons?

Ok as an answer and another question...

Can i use Photoshop and shrink the image down and save it as an ico. file? Then if i'd want a 3d icon just add a shadow then make it a render with no background???

Yeah, you just need to double check the size of the icon. Or ****. I'm sure you could use your own size.

Icons need to be different sizes depending on the theme you are making. For Storm, Bold, and 8900 themes, they have to be 80x80 and in .png format.

Pearl, 83xx, and 88xx theme icons must be 48x36.

You can use Gimp or PS to resize them.

You can find tons of icons for free or for purchase by simply typing "free png icons" into any search provider.
