uh... is that even possible? how could a theme let you text more? vzw has a limit on the characters, not your theme lol

It is through the carrier. It may have looked like one big text, but it was prob sent as 2.

no cuz i kept pressing space till it filled 160 with letters and spaces then it never said field full i didnt send it to my friend tho i should of .. it prob would of sent in two

You sure you were connected to Verizon. I'd your phone tries to auto connect to att or t mobile it wiL say the 160/6. Cause that happens to me at school I lose service

ok, I dont know about on a Storm, but i know on my VZW phone b4 my Storm if I txted more that 160 characters, it would send, and I'd get a txt saying it was sent as 2 txts, the 2nd starting where the 1st left off. It might be possible, but dont hold your breath....of course, if you are toying with my Teen txting emotions....hold it as long as you can....

I and my users with the storm have had it too. If you search the forums you will see others have had it amd there are pics of it too. I don't think it is theme related as I have not installed any themes yet. It appears to be random with all the OS's. when you send a message over 160 to a VZW customer it comes in as an EMS message. If its sent to a non VZW phone then it gets broken apart. This is not a VZW restriction on 160 chars as all my older phones on verizon could do it. Again its random for me but I love it when it happens.
