**REVISED** my first theme revision.......

some of you guys wanted my first theme without the scrolling icons on top for berryweather and such, well, here ya go...............


I also fixed the bottom icons so when you focus in on them they don't drop.


I don't know if the berryweather menu is still black on black or not I don't have it I have simpleweather.

thanks for all the comments and suggestions in the last thread, post up some screen shots of this I wanna see the final product!

okay, I hope this is what everyone wants,got some changes to the theme as follows:

CHANGE 1: bottom dock is now user custom. set to device app order.


CHANGE 2: all menus (i hope) black on black text issue should be fixed.

CHANGE 3: added profiles icon to homescreen ( sorry K. hotspots weren't workin for some reason).


CHANGE 4: NEW LOOK, SAME GREAT TASTE!!!!

download link is at the bottom. I hope this will work for you guys, and I will check in and read the feedback, but I have other themes I need to get rolling so I will have to let this one be for a bit.

Okay, I think I got it.................



I've worked on it till I thought I was gonna chuck my cpu out the window, but I finally figured it out.

I won't bore you with technical explanations, I will get right to it.................... finally, I think I got it right.


changes as follows:




CHANGE 1: fixed black on black text in apps (even downloaded berryweather and bb messenger to make sure).


CHANGE 2: fixed clock issue, it is no longer taking over the screen.


CHANGE 3: fixed cut off clock in app screen.


CHANGE 4: added hotspots per request: quicklaunch,app screen, profiles, bb messenger, calendar, and yes folks...........berryweather! and they do work this time I promise!


thanks for all of your feedback, as frustrating as this theme has been, I've learned more about themebuilding in the past couple of days as I have in the two months I have been doing it.

so far so good ill post some screens to get this theme jumpstarted, but you might want to consider making the icons user changable, seems to be an extremly popular feature in almost all themes that do well

Thanks for listening to people JC i just wanted to let you know that its great that you listen to your feedback not just from me but from others because were the ones you will gear you product at but yeah glad i could give ya some pointers and even happier your willing to listen

Also in the screenshots i wanted to try and show off the blue glow that the buttons on the bottom have in like the picture gallery...shown here. i digg it!

also .. on 3rd party app menus .. its black on black.. I cant see a thing in SW menus..

also.. Me personally.. would like a hotspot on screen for app screen.. I hate hit the BB button (no biggy tho)

any way to get icons all the same size?

Maybe if you highlight the date - and click- it opens calendar>>??

And yet still .. just the black on black menu is the only thing that would stop me from rockin this theme .. great job jc!!

**Its not just 3rd party app menus .. I have my BB do spellcheck before it sends emails .. that menu also is black on black .. couldnt make anything out unless highlighted ..

Are you talking the simpleweather menu? I'm runnin this theme now, and mine is ok. the spell check on mine is okay also, wierd. I will look into it tonight. Thanks for the feedback.
