I haven't tested it out on .148/.151, but I don't see why it wouldn't.

Hi Rockee,

Great theme! I love the 16 icon screen. Is it possible to do a 12 icon screen with a hidden today? I realize it would only have a few items, but it would be helpful.

Thanks.

I've downloaded and installed this option:

4 Icons with SMS, Messages and Calendar Today

Looks good, nice and simple, exactly what I'm after. However, I'm missing the icon for "SMS And MMS" from the main menu which shipped with the handset. The SMS icon is also missing from the Today section at the top.

When I receive an email it shows in both the SMS section at the top and the Messages section in the middle. Not sure if that is related to the above. When I run the standard Precision Zen theme "SMS and MMS" and "Email Messages" are treated differently

One final query. Would it be possible to do a version with just the calendar at the bottom, like this one with just three items displayed and no weather button?

edit to add: I'm running v4.7.0.141 in case that makes a difference?

I really like this theme.
It works well with BerryWeather and MeterBerry

I just hope someone comes out with an app that can automatically
change themes and then rest the device.

Will you be accepting donations for custom versions of this theme?

If your missing the SMS & MMS icon, open up your email then BB Button -> Options -> General Options and make sure "SMS and Email Inboxes" is set to "Separate".

I have noticed the Message indicator turning on when you get an email. It shows # new messages in the SMS & MMS section and in the Messages section it shows # new with the actual message. There is an option in Plazmic for SMS only and I'm sure that would fix the issue, but it's "grayed" out. If I find a way around this, I will update the theme.

That would be an interesting app! You could mention it to Toysoft makers of the random wallpaper app.

What customizations are you looking for?

Thanks for the fast turnaround. I'm using the 16 icon theme right now and I love it!! However, I notice a memory leak happening as soon as I load the theme. Using the default Precision Zen, there is no leak. I can reproduce it each time I reload the theme and then reboot (battery pull).

Has anyone else noticed? Is it just with the 16 icon theme?

Others may have a different opinion or results, but I can see that happening with 16 icons instead of 4 and 8. The OS has to pull those extra icons when loading up.

Is that just an increase in memory utilization or a real leak where unallocated memory is not being recovered?

I don't see why it wouldn't be able to recover the memory, but that's a whole different story with BB memory management. These themes are TINY in size and any images that I have used are properly compressed. How much are you losing?

I reboot after a battery pull at 45mb. Within 15 minutes it goes down to 37, and after an hour at 35. While the device still runs well, this is very different from the Precision Zen default (3 rows of icons) where I can maintain over 40 mb for most of the day.

I can test it out and see what I end up with. I'm usually not worried about memory until I get the hourglass of DEATH. I have used all of my themes except the 12 and 16 icons (too many icons for me). If you holding up at 35 I wouldn't worry about it because it's most likely the extra icons.

Side note: Must be nice seeing that much memory ... I have two applications (Soicialscope & Berryweather that drop my memory by 10 within the first hour.
