This will require the user of the theme to set weather bug as the first icon on the apps page, but it's the only way it can be done as weather bug is a 3rd party app so isn't included in the list of apps available for icons in plazmic.

I tried those very steps and when I applied the theme to my phone the icon appeared as the same icon. It would not change to weatherbug. You also cannot resize the icons. Very confusing.

I removed my beta version and installed the official version, but now when I try to load my .thm file, I get an error message saying that the file can't be loaded because the device profile required by the theme is incomplete or missing, and the file fails to load. Does anyone know how to resolve that?

Anyone having problems with icons in landscape mode being waaaay off of alignment? I am also having issues with the select highlight icon in Quicklaunch no being there.

I thought it was because I was using files from beta to export out of the official release. So I made an identical file from scratch and it looks nothing like it should. I have churned out hundreds of test themes and themes out of the beta and never had these problems. I have spent a better part of the day working on it and I am quickly losing patience.

After downloading, installing, and a reboot I rebuilt my theme from scratch and found a few things. The OFFICIAL release is pretty much a beta with a new build number. My theme suffers from the same bugs, and I guarantee it isn't my doing. Here's a small laundry list:

Mute button works to mute, but will not unmute. Have to use button on top during call after the call is originally muted with screen button.

Some icons skin in Plazmic but do not carry over into the actual theme. I have done multiple battery pulls and have reinstalled an older version with the beta of Plazmic to find the older theme works but with the usual bugs for the beta themes.

Memory leak issues seem to have been fixed, less mem leak so far. File size for the theme have been cut down in size. My theme clocked in at a little over 2MB with the beta and the official takes it down to around 1.5MB and I am using custom fonts. I am sure that by using native BB fonts the size might shrink even more since Plazmic doesn't have to embed the font in any way.

Overall, things are fixed but things are still way broken. I still label this as a beta piece of software as a lot of things are still not fixed that should be, especially since we can load the default Zen theme and be just fine. The software still needs a bit of work. I'm not comfortable releasing a FREE theme with my name on it if the skinning software sucks and makes it run like crap when I'm not responsible for the performance. I can't imagine how some people feel who have paid for themes to get similar performance. Bummer.

I take it you rebooted after you removed the beta, and again once you installed the final release? I had problems with certain fonts not appearing in Plazmic which was fixed after a reboot.

Despite not noticing any differences in the official release of Plazmic itself, or any change in theme file sizes exported, I have noticed that since exporting my theme using the official release it's a bit snappier. Especially when switching from landscape to portrait etc. Only an observation so could be entirely in my head but I thought I would share.

Everyone is talking about the Theme Builder side of Plazmic...has anyone found anything different regarding the Composer app? Could this be where the changes are?

I know that with the Beta version, certain features added to SVG files (new message pop-ups for example) would crash a phone running 4.7.0.109 but work fine on 4.7.0.75 - 4.7.0.103. Maybe they changed the way the SVG files are compiled in preparation for another official device OS release...(I haven't had the time to download the new version and check it out yet)?

Just a thought.

Also, has anyone been able to confirm or deny that Task subentries will/will not show up in Today/Hidden Today areas using the new version of Plazmic?
