Yes, some say that having too many themes at once can slow the storm down. I run meterberry too but have not seen a dramatic decrease like yours. Did you perform a hard reset after activating the theme?

some people say not to have any more then 3 themes on your phone at a time but i dont believe that. i have 6 themes on my phone with no leaks or lag. it all varies from phone to phone. some apps and themes cause leaks on some phones and none on others. make sure you have no other apps running in your background.

This is true tho my phone tends to hang a bit with 4 or more themes on it.

When the mem starts dropping, hold down your BB button to launch the list of running applications.. usually I notice an open program that shouldn't be and that fixes the problem after closing it down.

Are you running OS .151? That version is awesome on memory management.

I already removed 4 themes and it seems to be holding memory much better. I did what you suggested and I don't see any apps running. As far as the OS goes, I'm running 4.7.0.75 and it never drops EDEGE on AT&T. I don't know if it would be wise to switch to .151.

Running .75 will give you some issues too. I would jump to the os section for the storm and see what os will run well with you being unlocked and on at&t. I would at least give .148 a shot, it was an official release from verizon and it is nto a bad os. I am currently running .151 when I create and test these themes and have not had any issue with it. Not sure if it would play nice on yours being unlocked. Another thing to look at is uninstalling and re-installing the theme, sometimes the installer on the storm seems to hang at times causing poor installs that have have seen lead to some memory issues.

I'm going to try your suggestion of uninstalling and re-installing my themes. I'm a little leary about upgrading my OS to .148 because I've read a number of posts with people complaining about edge/EDGE problems on AT&T and they're almost always advised to change to .75. As a matter of fact, on my first Storm I did upgrade to .148 and had the edge/EDGE problems.

How is .151? Does that hold a stable EDGE on AT&T?

Not sure about the EDGE/edge thing ... I am running Verizon on my phone and the signal strength I have is better than most any of the other builds I have had to date.

you have to separate the email and sms inboxes. got to message folder, bb button, options, general options, separate messages. the icons will pop up on the home screen.
