If I simply delete the net_rim_theme_precision_zen_360x480_t file and in the app loader load another theme will it install only that theme thus eliminating that taking up space right from the get go? Or how can I delete the default theme.

Also, do I remove net_rim_bb_medialoader_360x480_t to get rid of the default wallpapers?

    Thank you.

    1) idk
    2) delete: net_rim_bb_medialoader_backgrounds_360x480_t.cod and net_rim_bb_medialoader_360x480_t.cod

Thanks. At least got rid of the backgrounds, I was using BBFileScout to go in and delete samples (minus sounds). But I figured this would just be that much easier.

Don't delete the default theme. It will mess up your phone! Search the forums you will get more info.

i dont think there is a way to delete the default theme. i know from when i had my curve you could delete some of the default themes but i came with more than one. i know if you deleted them all it would seriously jack up your phone

if the default theme is removed good luck getting any themes to work since it's the template for which all themes go by (in other words have fun reloading the os).

I agree, from what i've read deleting the default theme messes up the configuration and the newer themes wouldn't work...
there was this person who deleted the default theme stating that the new themes she had installed showed up on the apps folder but not on the theme folder..
Also, on this thread where someone is giving tips on how to free space says something like delete all themes except the ones that came from blackberry...
