Icon only?

How does one go about replacing Icons ONLY?

I have a LOT of Icons that I wold like to update to my personal choices, but don't want to update a complete theme...

How do I find out the filename apps get their icons from?
How do I Replace those icons with MY choices?

I'm am now SET with my perfect theme that works the way I like, and would like to do some icon replacements to make it look even better.

You can only update icons for BB core apps in theme maker that will work in the entire theme. And you can make icons for third party apps that will work only on the home/lock screens if you know the module name of the app by going to options/applications select your app and look for the module names, some may have multiple but the main one is normally at the top.

Here is an exmple for Quicklaunch:

Hmmm... A bit lost.

I want to change a few core icons... Since an update (Can't remember which one), all my Media icons are very DULL... I would also like to change the email icon and the BBMessenger icon as well. How do I do those? Do I need to have the full theme in theme maker to do it, or can I just update icons without changing the theme?

I also have a few apps that DON'T show up in that App list. How can I find/change THOSE icons?

To do anything about changing the icons you must have the theme in Theme Builder. As far as apps that are not on the list you can hit the BB button while in the list and go to modules and scroll through it and hopefully find it that way. Else you would have to contact the developer.. Remember the are third party, addon. And core apps. Click the button up top to bring up the drop down box.

Ok.. So I guess I'm screwed...

The Theme is someone elses, and all the icons are not themed. I have a set of icons that would work VERY well with the theme, but the developer is no longer supporting that theme...

If he/she is no longer supporting perhaps ask if you can have the source files so you can update it. Couldn't hurt to ask.

Somehow I doubt it...

Blackberry Pro_V3 (Red) by Natemz... I LOVE the theme. But I LOVE the Icons he's using in his Blak series... Even without those, I see a LOT of great icons that I think would look fantastic in Pro_V3...
