The blue button at the bottom toggles between the first 9 icons and the secon 9 icons. The name buckshot is from the manner in which the icons spread out and in when the button is selected.
The Time sends you to the clock.
The Date sends you to the calendar.
The Signal meter sends you to Manage Connections
The Battery sends you to options.
Clicking the homescreen will send you to the applications menu.
Menu buttons are switches, when selected they move from right to left.
Its a nice theme although when you press the orb button you can see the other icons on the bottom. I think you should also hide the icons then tap the orb and it shows them and tap again for the second screen. That's my opinion if you plan to sell it.

The official version does not do that because the the animation is sped up. The orb can not be used in the way you describe due to limitations of plazmic composer.
