Just scroll down. The article also has pics of the Chinese Passport, and the Porsche Design 'Keian' P9984 that's on the front page of CB right now, followed by 2 more detailed pics of the slider!

    Obviously it's fake, wait till Q4 2015 or Q1 2016
They already in the past 6 months introduced the P9982, classic, passport, leap. No way they're gonna introduce the slider anytime soon

These are the same renders (i.e., best guesses) we've already seen on CB. No actual pictures.

For the slider to be a feasible upgrade to the Passport, it would at least need wireless charging and 64Gib of device flash in addition to the existing Passport specs.

I'd rather have USB 3.0 over wireless charging, I'd like 64gb as well and at a minimum passport specs

    Different path.

Passport is 1:1 flagship, Slider is 16:9 flagship.

Irrelevant: so long it had the same screen resolution as the Passport, I would take that as same spec.

I disagree. Wireless charging is not that great of an advantage for me to consider it an 'upgrade'. Cool feature? Maybe.

64 gigs of storage would be nice but as long as it keeps the micro SD slot, it's not a deal breaker.

I would hope that the slider will have at minimum Passport specs. Including the battery. I think BlackBerry has finally caught on that this is not an area that they can skimp on (which is a great way to rebuild their reputation - especially as other companies move to the 'rapid charge batteries instead which also means faster drain)

Actually, as long as the Slider can 'slide' well, I'm probably going to buy one.

What I'm really interested in is the P'9984 (Passport Design)

I know normally a Porsche Design device comes with 64GB of storage but imagine it came with 128gb?

    "Porsche Design P'9984 Passport 128GB"

Just that name makes it worth $2,000 lol

What a bizarre statement. That is major differentiator for many people alongside KB or Touch preferences. For me a square screen is not something I would want. You are ignoring major details.

    If the specs are

5.1-inch 1440 x 2560 (QHD) resolution screen, to the octa-core CPU. A 3650mAh battery keeps the lights on, and the phone would offer a 16MP rear-facing camera along with a 5MP front-facing snapper
you better BELIEVE if true it IS an upgrade in just about every respect.

I am actually looking forward to this device. I really liked the 9800/9810 device, so this is an awesome to that. It must have spec inline with the BB-Passport. It looks like it may have the edge display as well (not sure about that tho')...

If this turns out to be true, battery life would be superior if it were full hd. 5.1 inch @ QHD? Ugh....

Give me the real software upgrades. Dark hub, double typing problems fixed, updating the android runtime, stuff like that. Wireless charging, cool gimmick, but as someone else stated, i'd rather have usb 3.0 for charging, a nice processor, the four rows with the touch enabled keyboard and we're good to go. Oh and fix the camera, this ( PP ) is just horrible. /rant

Regardless if real or fake, I'd love to see it with a little more width, and also possibly with rounded corners, so it's a bit more comfortable in a pocket.
