    225 Euros...

If it's true it shares the screen with the S6 Edge, repairs could be costly.

Only time will tell, at the moment it's just speculation because Samsung is the only other manufacture of that type of screen. BlackBerry may be making its own one, completely different to the S6 Edge.

I was just forced to pay $350 CAD for a Passport screen repair..

At least a couple other phones use the same screen, right? It'll be using the same one as the S6 Edge? Then at least they'll already have some of the screens, should bring it down to $250 CAD maybe at most?

The thing is generics will be out... they will get made one way or another- even if the generics are not "true" curved but just flat lcds under a curved glass top.

It will be an expensive phone... Maserati is an expensive car, if you damage it, the repair is also expensive.

As it becomes more popular the prices will come down. Not to mention if aftermarket starts producing stuff as well.

The actual screen for the passport is around $85 CAD so the rest was just labour. A curved screen for the S6 Edge is more than double the cost of the passport screen.

Are you serious?! I could have done that myself -.- (I've frankensteined multiple broken Bold 9900's and Torch's in the past to get working phones out of them :P)

Maserati is going mid market like a cheap 911. Probably should pick another brand in the future.

A Corolla is like the flip phone of this phone repair analogy. (And I don't mean the style)

Because a 911 isn't expensive to fix? Haha
