Problem downloading ringtones on crackberry

I'm having a problem downloading ringtones from CB. When I save the ringtone onto my phone from the email it won't play. It shows up as 0.00 for the play time. I've tried several different ringtones with the same result. I've downloaded ringtones before with no problem. Anyone have any ideas of what the problem is? Thanks.

Download them to a computer and then send them to the device.

Is there a reason you can't just click on the ringtone and choose the save option?

@ motorcycle mama-i'll give that a try.

@albee1-i do save the ringtone and it shows up on my phone but it doesn't play. and the length of the ringtone says 0.00.

Will the ringtone play from the email attachement?

There have been lots of threads about people having this same exact issue. It seems to be random.

Downloading the ringtones to a computer and then sending them to the device seems to be the suitable work around.
