OS 5 ringtones for OS 6 work on 9780?

I heard some are able to get the OS 5 ringtones on OS 6 by modifying the COD file via BBSAK, is it possible to do the same for my 9780 or will it mess things up?

Yes you can do it. You should find a thread in the forums that gives you the directions. I actually preferred not to install the COD file and instead download the individual ringtones (there's a link to them in the thread where you can download each individually). This way you can keep only you like, store them on your microSD card and then take them to whatever BB you have.
