I also notice on BBM, it doesn't really make the sound when someone messages me :\ the LED lights up but that's about it. I set my alert to make it a sound but it doesn't do anything.

In your profile settings, did you check under "BlackBerry Messenger New Message" - Volume should be 1-10.

This. RIM actually has an OTA download for all of the OS5 ringtones/notifiers.

EDIT: Found it for you

RIM gives BlackBerry OS5 ringtones back to OS6 users.. Sort of | TheCellularGuru

I remember seeing quite a few posts on this awhile back. Search the forums for more information. I felt the same way at first, but now I like the new ringtones even better.

Launch your browser, and click where it says Home Page (mobile.blackberry.com), and then scroll down to the link that says OS 5.0 ringtones for Blackberry 6 OS. plain and simple way to get them straight from blackberry

There's a zip file floating around here too. Search is your friend.

Quick question...if you download the OS 5 ringtones, will that wipe out the new OS6 tones, or does it add them? Thanks!

Just get the file from the ringtones section here. They're already in mp3 format.
Drag and drop from your PC.
