How do I edit a ringtone already on my BB Curve?

Hi, newbie here, so please be gentle.

There's a ringtone on Crackberry that I want to download, but I only want to download about 10 seconds of the full ringtone. Audacity doesn't seem to have a way to do it if it has already been downloaded to the device (I haven't downloaded it yet, since I don't want the whole thing.). Does anyone know of a program that would let me edit a ringtone once I download it (or edit it right here and create a second version)?

Why don't you install to computer then edit with audacity?

I'm a bit of a novice with downloading and saving everything to the computer, but will see what I can come up with.

Even if you did download it to your device, all you would have to do is save it to your memory card, plug your phone into the computer via the USB cable & then edit it in Audacity that way. That's what I've done in the past with one or two ringtones.
