Custom ringtones and sync problems

I am a blackberry "newbie" and I have a torch. I'm having problems with custom ringtones. I know how to go in and set the custom ringtones but when I sync my calendar and address book with Outlook, the custom settings disapper.... everytime!!

Is there a fix for this?

might be your phone because i have a torch too and this never happens. Sorry i couldnt help
