Contact SMS tone

I did search this and can't seem to find the right problem:

I set a special ringtone for a certain contact. It's all set up to go along with current profile. It's not on silent. I'm on OS 5.0

and what? its not working? if your sure you have those settings mentioned above correct, id try to upgrade the OS. I had a profile problem with a version of OS5 but i don't remember which one

There's a option for OS 6 in profile settings..You can upgrade your 9700.
As far as I know there is only 3th party app to do that in OS 5.

Here go there I did a video on this, when I has os5 it was a pain in the *** and no 3dpart app is needed at all. But u should update to os6 better profile options also I think in later os5 build they redid way profiles work.

You don't need a third party in app in 5.0

Make sure that there is no punctuation in the phone number.

Try without the plus sign and make sure, if it's an international number, that the country and city code are added.
