[CrackBerry Question]

Hello everyone,

I have encountered a really bizarre situation with two identical Blackberry Q5 and I am desperate for any help I can get.

I own a 2.5years old Q5 (SQR100-2) which works fine on 3G & 4G networks.

Now to the weird part:

I have just purchased a brand new Q5 (SQR100-2) with exactly the same specs (UMTS - LTE BANDS, OS, etc,) as my old Q5 and I even use the same SIM card, but it doesn't see the 3G & 4G and it just stays on Edge (2G)

If I choose 4G & 3G on Network Mode settings, it doesn't find any networks.

Does anybody might have any idea as to what the explanation of this strange situation be??

It's always possible that you got a bad phone...

Might check and make sure both phones have the same OS and Radio files installed.

It has something to do with your mobile network..

Do you have on-device confirmation of the second Q5 being an SQR -2, or are you going off of just what the seller said?

I have not tried 4G before hence may not know
