Hi everyone,
I just bought Q5 marked as broken. Seems like the top frame over the touch screen is broken (however no visual damage). I'm stuck at the initial setup while the phone asks me to swipe down on the clock screen (essential gesture 2/2). That i think is the last step before letting in to the os but i cannot pass it. Swiping left, right and up is working ok. I guess it can only be a hardware fault and replacing the screen with digitizer should fix that. Am i right?
Is there ANY other way to pass the tutorial? I could live without swiping down i guess at least until new screen arrives.

The Q5 is already dirt cheap. If you can fix it yourself, I say go for it. Replace the digitiser.

That's what I'm going to do - fixing it. But there is another thread about Z30 with exactly the same problem - coincidence?
