You're better off waiting. It takes up too much space. I updated via sachesi and it took up over 5GB. I'm gonna revert back to 10.2.1.

Update via BlackBerry link when you can.

I did it and it works perfectly. I did a security swipe and installed it and have same space left as before the update

I had everything (photos, media, contacts) in the SD card. After the update I installed the purchases I had made if that's what you are asking.

Actually, I installed all the apps back and still got even more space than before the update. I wonder if the previous updates stay somewhere in the system and that's what takes so much space.

Don't see why not! Go ahead, a lot of users have been on 10.3.1 since a long time...

I got tried of waiting for the update for my Q5 from Telus, so I did it with Sachesi. Make sure you have lots of time to get through the whole process and make sure you select the right update for your device. I couldn't get Sachesi to completed a backup without crashing, so I did a full backup with BB Link.

I had to remove a number of apps before Sachesi decided it had enough space available. It seemed to think there was less space available than I was seeing, but I did a restart and then it was happy and started the update.

I almost didn't do the update due to all the negative comments I've read, but the actual updating process went smoothly and the results look good. Also I haven't experienced the low notification volume some have reported.
