I know Q5 supports Miracast but I just want to know if it's possible to project the Q5's screen to a Windows laptop wirelessly.

Would assume for this to happen the laptop would also have to support Miracast.

Are there any apps that I have to install? Or do I have to buy a dongle?

Yes, a dongle would be a good start. I'm sure the Internet will show you something. Apps? Probably not.

I'm not sure how robust it is, but you may want to give EZCast a try.

It's an Android app, so you'd need the client on your phone and the server (Windows program?) on your laptop.

Still, an actual Miracast dongle and the built in casting of the phone is likely a more robust combo, but just wanted to throw a potential app/software option your way.
