So, I just visited the local Rogers store in Kingston, Ontario and asked if they had a working Q5 I could see. I have the Z10, but want to see how the Q5 works. The saleswoman said that they didn't have any, and that they haven't yet been released in Canada. I said it was released last week. She asked in Canada or the USA, and I replied "Canada". She apologised and I left. I've seen non-functioning models in Target.

This is ridiculous. Needless to say, Rogers needs to better educate their reps.

Edit: I stand corrected. Rogers hasn't released the Q5 (they should imo). The rep still didn't know it had been released in Canada though.

Maybe you need to educate yourself as well just a little. Rogers was not one of the carriers to launch the Q5. You would have had to go to their subsidiary, Fido - http://www.fido.ca/web/Fido.portal?_...neSKU=RIMQ5BLK

Well there you go. I could have sworn it was part of the Rogers display at Target. I saw it on the Fido one, as well. Thanks.

I see Rogers has it on their website now... $49 with 2yr contract and $349.99 monthly! not too bad at all. Sucks that the plans aren't as good anymore...
