    Hi there,

Try resetting back to an official os. If that still doesn't work then you may be looking at a hardware problem, and should contact Blackberry or your carrier.

    Good luck!

Recalibrate battery: Load to 100% then take it out for at least 30 min (some write 1.5-2h), then put it in again and observe it go down... Do you switch batteries? That might be a cause, too, so your phone keeps displaying the charging level of the other battery.

Q5 has non-removable battery. OP would need to take apart the phone to accomplish a battery removal. I suggest getting it replaced.

Good luck! I did not know that the Battery is unremovable... your bad... It is definitely a calibration problem. So that 2% are missing but only 1% show off, so when it comes to its end, it shows 55% not 10%... Hard reset, after full charging it and keep it connected to charger might help. Not sure. CU!

Once again as much as I know we love to fart around with our blackberries I would advise the OP to just turn it in for service/replacement if bard resets and os reloads don't work. It's gonna save you pain and suffering in the long run!

Let the smartphone battery deplete its charge and automatically shutdown. Then using the wall charger adapter let the smartphone fully charge before using it. Repeat the process two or three times back-to-back. The battery should not reach 5% and shutdown; I've had the battery meter consistently show 1% before shutdown.
