So a couple of weeks ago I bought the a Koodo Q5 to have as a back up phone when my wife Q10 was sent for keyboard repair (the infamous ultra sensitive / double tapping issue).
So now that her Q10 is back, I decided to flip phones for a while and give the Q5 a try myself. I have a Z10 and one of the things everyone was telling me was the great battery life the Q5 has, but up until today I didn't really experienced it!

I'm down to 33% after 15 and a half hours with a very good use of the phone throughout the day including two hours of commuting time. I'm impressed. My Z10 would have never been able to last this long under the same usage.

Well we're in the same boat then! I use both the Z10 and the Q5 and the battery life difference between those two berries is enormous. I'm a moderate to heavy user (though not these few days) and the Z1'4 battery life always pisses me off. It's a great phone with no stamina. The Q5 I can always rely on to get me from dawn till dusk

Smaller screen. Doesn't use the screen for a keyboard. Not sure what the mystery is. ;-).

Does anyone here have both the Q5 and the Q10? (despite that being pointless since both possess the physical QWERTY) Are there significant differences between their battery lives? After all, some people do rave about that battery-saving AMOLED screen.
