    There might be a setting in the escreens to force the CPU to a certain speed, but don't mess with that unless you have another Q5 handy.

    Personally, I wouldn't do it. Just increases the chance for your CPU to break. If there is a turbo-boost feature for the processor then over clocking won't be so bad if it's from say 1.2ghz to 1.4ghz. But if there is no turbo-boost function, you could severely damage the processor

    Someone had told me at my job since they had the processor as the the Q10 just underclocked at 1.2 it could have been done... but I'm not messing with it if nobody else on here has

    That sounds like an interesting project. Does BB10 have a way to access the kernel? If so then it should be possible.

    Sounds like the HP Touchpad. All the same cpu, 1 "edition" clocked at 1.5 and the other at 1.2 or something. So all the devs just made it 1.5 across the board for the snapdragon and up to people to crank it to 1.7 if they wanted to. Many did with no issue.

    I don't know how you'd do this on the BlackBerry though.
