In the hub of my Q5, text messages from my two most common contacts no longer show up.

If I open a message thread from one of them, but type nothing, it will show as a draft. But if I dont have an active draft, I dont see their messages coming in.

No matter what I do, I cannot get the notifications (the little red light or the sound) when they have sent me a text.

I have tried making custom notifications for each of them but it hasnt worked.

Please help! I am not very tech savvy and I really dont want to change my device!

Is this the case with the HUB specifically or you can still see these folks in the actual email account (choosing your gmail account from the HUB as an example).
I would first try adding those two contacts to the priority list in the HUB:

Go to the HUB
Hit the 3 dots menu in the bottom right-hand corner
Choose Settings --> Priority Hub -->
Hit the little person icon on the bottom of the screen (ADD RULE)
Fill in the criterial of the contact and then Click CREATE on the top right of the screen
Do this for each of the two contacts and run some tests.

I'm thinking there is a filter somewhere.....

I've had the same problem for over a year now. There are some contacts which I receive no notifications from, I only see them in the "draft" conversation mode. Very frustrating
