    My Q5 doesn't pick up emails unless I am connected to a Wi-Fi source. I thought it was supposed to use data
    if there was no Wi-Fi available. Is there a setting for this?

    Have you tried rebooting your device?
    And also, does your plan include email?

    Yes - plan includes email and unlimited data.
