    Hello, I have a 1 month old Q5 bought in Bangalore,India. The problem is I don't have NFC settings anywhere in the phone. It's not under the ' network connections' in the settings. Please advice me on how to get NFC.

    Not all Q5s have NFC enabled as it is market dependent. Are you sure your device has it enabled/included?

    I just checked on wikipedia. My model is SQR100-3 which is sold in India and Indonesia. They don't have NFC.

    Same here :/ why does they make so many different phones of same name ? Should Indian not use it or something? Why is smart Tag app provided in here pre-installed?

    Yeah, most probably BlackBerry were trying to keep the cost of the phone down. Hence no nfc and 4g on the phone. Anyway, it doesn't make much of a difference as i'd not use it much.
