Where are you from? If you live near the US-Canada international boundary you could visit Canada and buy a BlackBerry Q5 off-contract and unlock it. The main criteria will be verifying the frequencies with those of US wireless carriers. If you live in Canada then Fido and Rogers, for sure, carry the BlackBerry Q5.

Wow how very sad. I was not expecting that but thanks for the reply. I have a z30 and I contacted liquipel to see if they can do it because it is not listed on the site. So here's that in case anyone was wondering. Same for q5

Cool, good to know.
This is probably a broad policy for all non (lab) tested devices. Ie tablets, smart watch, blue tooth speaker etc. To cover their asses.
Besides, they probably tried to get one to test and gave up from frustration because they couldn't find a place to buy one.

LOL! Yeah. When I went to buy my z30 the nearest one was in Hollywood which is 20+ miles away from me. Maybe 30 or so so I just ordered on amazon. But knowledge the marketing they probably just didnt know it existed
