You lose some features and gain some. Z10 can't do miracast and fm radio. Q5 can.

I switched over from a Z10 and I'm loving it; build quality is nothing compared to the Q10's but the battery life is amazing as mentioned in the earlier posts. Waiting for the Blackberry Classic

That's the best i've got out of the Q5 with light to moderate use. It lasts me about 11-12 hours with heavy use.

I like the look of the Q5, I didn't at first but now I find it is a very modern looking phone where the Q10 is more classic blackberry. Both are georgous especially in alternative colours.

I can attest to the durability of the Q5. My daughter threw hers to the ground in a temper tantrum and it does not have a mark on it. She finally twisted it and actually bent it to finally kill it. I took it apart to try and fix it, it is very durable by design.

I have the Q5 and it's a great device. I have yet to see any lag at all on it.
I don't think it feels cheap as some say. I had a bold 9790 which is a little classier. My dad has a q10 which is really nice, but honestly, I am not regretting going with the Q5. The only thing I miss about my Bold was the near silent keyboard. I don't mind the mild clickyness of the q5 though. overall i love it - it stands out for 3 reasons.
1- its a blackberry
2- its got a keyboard
3- its pure red
