I believe that is the intent. Two clear aspect ratios for developers to focus on. Make it easy for developers and they will stick with you.

- 1:1 (Q10, R10, Higher end qwerty)
- 15/9 (Z10, Higher end touch or/and Phablet?)
- 9/16 (Playbook, Black Forest)
Or put tablets to 9/15...

Would 15/9 be weird for a tablet?
I hope they will bring full "Landscape" mode to blackberry soon...

A higher end Z10? Well that got me interested.... an even more awesome Z10.
I truly hope the size doesn't change, I find it be the perfect size now, I hate these oversized phones, I find them to be ridiculous. Personally I think BB got it spot on with size of the Z10.
Interested to know what would make it higher end, specs in the phone? More expensive casing a la bold style?
I'd be extremely curious to hear more details on that
