I have a blackberry phone Q5. my BlackBerry has some serious problems, I get stuck. I was advised to reset. Before doing so I would like to save what you have stored. The heading should be saved first. What to do? I was tempted to throw it. I'm going crazy.

Right, calm down. A reset will do nothing to the data inside your phone. A FACTORY reset will wipe all data on your phone.

To backup, plug your device to the PC and run BlackBerry Link. It has a backup option.

And welcome to the forums both of you!

    1. Define 'stuck' - meaning, is it stuck during boot or an app or the homescreen hangs, etc.
Forum members will be better able to help you with more details on the issue.
    2. Which OS are you on (press myver and space to know) and which OS do you want to update to?
    3. Which steps have you already taken?
    4. Is your device under warranty?
