I have a Q5 and a Classic and I find myself using the Q5 more frequently for one simple reason...it is considerably lighter and I do not really consider it to be a compromise at all.

The Q5 is snappy and fluid with BB10, the camera is great and so is the battery life. It puts a smile on my face every time I use it...and I still can't believe I was able to buy it for $135 brand new.

I still love my Classic, but the Q5 is still my favorite BlackBerry of all time!

It's great to read all these positive testimonials about the forgotten and largely unloved Q5.

It will take a very impressive device from BlackBerry to get me to leave the 5.

I like the look of the Passport SE but I have doubts about the Passport being too big for my style. And just watch out for the double typing to develop on the SE. I really hate double typing.

I'd go with my Z30 in place of my Q5 if I ever had to. Although I'm not as comfortable typing on the virtual keyboard.

For now and the foreseeable future I'm dialed into the Q5.!!

I have one and it's very dependable. Zero double type. My Q10 in the meantime has had 3 KB replacements. Also like to add, my Classic also started to DT. They did something right with the Q5 KB.

Ah the assistant. "Your command wasn't understood"..."the voice server is unavailable...". I sometimes spend entire trips in the car just trying to get it to make a single phone call.

    Posted via CB10
No, my q5 understands each and every command, I have no problem with voice assistant!

There are thousands of Q5 owners on the forums here. Not everyone is going to open this thread and declare there Q5 they bought.

But while we chatting. In Africa the Q5 was selling for $460 Unlocked Off Contract but I purchased for $200 on a 24hour flash sale.

This was 2 years ago, now you can grab on for literally $99 in the right stores.

Love my black Q5! Got it on sale from Best Buy last Spring. It's my daily driver during the week - I use my Z30 on weekends sometimes.

    Typed effortlessly on my Q5

Had the Q5, moved on. Never understood why it existed. They should have made it with q10 internals and sold at same price. It was never cheap enough to drive sales. I traded my z10 for it, the guy who got z10 was happy and I was too.

The Keyboard was the best on any BlackBerry I have used.

The bezel was in the right spot for bb10 gestures.

The camera was really awful indoors.

Loved the size of the phone.

If they re released a modern q5 I would be tempted!

    Running passport currently.

What's that supposed to mean? Never had any "destroyed wifi" on either 10.2.1, 10.3.1 or 10.3.2.

One here. A true master peace in the smallest of packages. Today somehow the trends are changing from 'small is beautiful' to 'Big is beautiful' in the mobile world. Used to be a time, when small hand sets were sought after.

The size, the super battery (lasts longer because of the small screen) and perfect keyboard are a combination difficult to beat.
Only one shortcoming is that every once is a while, the phone memory gets full. Wipe and reinstall all the email accounts to create space.
