Has BB10.2 been confirmed for the Q5?
Well, actually BB10 had been confirmed for the PlayBook by the CEO himself at one time, so BlackBerry's word isn't worth much.
Now i have to admit that this going back on their word regarding the PlayBook has caused me to hold off on getting the Q5 until I see 10.2 actually being released for it.
You guys confident that the Q5 will receive 10.2?

its a new device, there's no reason why it wouodmt get 10.2 the specs are mostly the same as the q10 but with a slightly slower soc

You can install the OS 10.2.0.483 for Q10 on Q5

If 10.2 has miracast that would be great because then you could display the q5's screen on a big screen without the HDMI port!

It's a BlackBerry 10 device, and the newest one at that, it's definitely going to see OS 10.2. If we were talking about, say, BlackBerry 11, there might be some cause for concern, but 10.2 is still the same OS, just with several new features, refinements and improvements.

It meets all the minimum requirements for OS 10 and BB10.2 is still OS 10, so it's most likely going to get it
