    Why the screen flashes during a phone call? Sometimes I dismiss the phone because I've to check notifications or see some photos that during the call the other person is sending me but it is almost impossible cause the screen keep turning on and off.. BlackBerry Virtual Expert says everything is okay.. Can someone hel plz?

    That happens without earphones. Have not tried with earphones on.

    I need to know if it something fixable, if it is like that because it has to (sensor thing) or if I have to return it back for warranty.. Everything apart that works and flows well right now..

    As soon as we take it away from the ear, the screen turns on. This is to avoid any accidental presses from the cheek. So if you use other media to communicate while on call, it's preferable to use headset.

    So then it turns "on and off" because the sensor is alternatively seeing me "that near" to turn display off and "that far away" to turn it on? Is there a way to avoid that apart from using earphones? thx for replying!

    The screen should not be turning on and off rapidly :/
    it happens as soon as I take it away from the ear and then it's fine.
    I'm afraid, there is no other option besides using a headset/speaker/bluetooth?

    Thx for replying dude.. I will try with eaphones and see if it happens also with them plugged in during a phone call. If not I assume everything is ok, right?
