    I have purchased a paid app from BlackBerry World (BBW) called "Call Recorder ++".
    The app was working satisfactorily till the new official update came in. As soon as I installed the update, this app stopped functioning. Tried re installing the app by deleting.
    BBW now says "Unavailable for this device". I tried reaching the developer and BBW, but have not heard from either.
    I have paid Rs150/- for the app(close to US$ 3) for the app. Screen shots attached.

    Isn't this cheating??

    Just contact BBW by that Contact Us Email address and they will contact you back in 2 to 4 days. They will then contact the author for you and get you a resolve or refund your money. Been doing app business with BBW for 15 years and been through this many times. They want your business and will do what it takes to make you happy. To call them unethical in itself is unethical you just have to keep your shirt on and wait for them to contact you back. Remember, they have millions of customers all over the world. No, I don't work for them.. lol

    And now another call recording app that I had purchased called "call recorder 10" has just disappeared from my phone(after a reflash) and also from my BBW "My Apps" list. However the app is visible in my Purchase History on BBW when accessed from my laptop from MS explorer. I've paid a fortune for this app, Indian Rupees 250. By far my most expensive BBW purchase.

    This effectively leaves me without a call recording App function on my phone. Can't do without one. My work demands the kind of app. Now I'm being forced to look outside of BlackBerry.

    Is it the app that updated, then disappeared, or did it disappear when you updated BlackBerry 10?

    If it was th BlackBerry update which caused it why not just downgrade to BlackBerry 10.1 until the software developers have a chance to catch up. I know you shouldn't have to, but it's a way you can work around the issues for now.

    Yes. Thank you. But I will have to again deal with reinstalling all my data and apps etc which I don't want to risk.
