    I've purchased a BB-Q5 and it has been running smoothly for 3 months now.
    Suddenly, I am facing a strange problem, which is, when I am connected to Wifi, the BB account connection is lost and as a result cannot send/receive messages over BBM. How ever when I switch back to Edge/3G service I can use BBM.

    Note : I am not on BIS since BB10 doesn't need BIS.

    Whats the possible cause and fix for this ?

    I am using the OS version: 10.2.1.3062 and my BBM has been updated recently.

    Maybe the WiFi connection has issues?

    Does the BlackBerry logo beside the signal disappear?
    If not, is the browsing and sending/receiving email affected?

    Yes, the BB Icon disappears while on Wifi. How ever browsing/mails are not affected. Only BBM seems to be affected by it.

    *Update*

    The wifi started behaving normally. It seems it was a problem on my ISP's end.
