    I recently lost my Blackberry Bold. I was lucky enough to have backed it up a few times to my laptop. I bought a Blackberry Q5. Is there away to transfer my .ipd files to the Q5?

    The easiest way is to use BlackBerry Link and choose the device migration / device switch option. Not everything will be transferred due to the application database changes. If you use Password Keeper in the BlackBerry Bold you will need to download it from BlackBerry World for the BlackBerry Q5 because it is no longer installed by default.
